Would a 36" sector 9 be good with randals and flashbacks? Or would I want like an almost downhill setup like my DH race with downhill trucks and gumballs? I don’t know of anyone who has volunteered to do slalom. I can probably bring Brian’s timer (if it's OK with him) and set it up, but my courses are too rudimentary to be worth travelling for.

René, you sound like you have some big hopes. As far as I can tell, this is outlaw. Mics and shuttle don’t really fit into the equation. Bringing in haybales will be pretty difficult, considering it’s at least a mile between the locked gate to the back hill. I suggest you take a trip to check it out...

I normally don’t notice animations because I have set my browsers to not display them, but I can definitely see your point, Glenn.

If phpBB can restrict avatars to just jpgs, that should keep readers from being abused with animations.

Martin is right-on. Gas-powered vehicles, especially the ones with two-stroke engines like the skatejet, totally ruin the session for all the other skaters. Electric is a good alternative in power-assisted skating, if someone really “needs” it.

The closing of the Vans park will be the end of an era, and probably the end of park riding during the Winter. Such a shame, and right before Winter hits us too.
