I thought you sweaty, stinky Texans were gonna post up at P. Graf's house? He said he's got room. Bit of a drive, as Lou can attest, but hey, the price is right. Other ideas: Steve Pederson is staying at the Ramada near the airport and said he might have some room. And Hotwire.com has 3-star hotel r...

Or if you just want us to fill you to the gills with caffeine and boot you in the ass for the drive back, we can do that too. We're flexible. :-)

Yup! Thought so. When it came time to send my 1990 323 to the great parking lot in the sky in early 2008, I was chagrined to learn that I couldn't just replace it with my new dream car, the Protege5, because the P5 simply was no more and had been supplanted by the Mazda3. I think Jourdan has quite an extensive snowboard background, so maybe he can help "translate" skate slalom for a crossover snowboarder. Not sure if Jourdan was more of a racer or a freestyler, but hey, it's worth a mention.

Re: TS/Hybrid deck for big guys

So I guess I need to start looking for a TS/Hybrid deck. (Kinda sucks since GS scares the hell outta me.) I weigh 280lbs, and am not overly light on my feet. So when I try to pump, I am probably flexing the deck quite a bit. I assume this means that a carbon fiber or kevlar deck is probably not the...

I notice that in the single-lane events you based the results on the sum of each rider's best two times, instead of just on the one fastest time. John, I agree with Jani, as I think most people would. Why? Because TS and GS typically make very different demands of a wheel.
