I love Switzerland, really, it is beautiful, clean, the people are nice, I call some my friends, I had good times there.......but...........sometimes it is just strange. My Dad worked in a bank too, we never ever had to pay fees for changing money, nowadays it is a little different, because the bank...

It is a custom shape. It was made by mostly verbal specifications, phone calls, and visits. The shape is not really what counts, the secret is in the board and in features you do not see in the photos. I hope it works the way I want it to work. I will report as soon as it is set up and tested. Snow ...

This is my favorite personal skate photo of the year. The first course of the 80 cones race in Zürich. What makes it so special for me is that my parents are watching in the background ( just under my left arm). It was the first time they watched me skate slalom in 25+ years and the very first time ...

I think that depends on your personal situtaion. I have a family as most of us have and can not stay away from home all the weekends of the year, therefore I like the oneday events close to home. I am lucky and will have 5 of them within 3 hours from home next year. I don´t care what status they have.

Steve, the decision for Latvia came about just like Cologne two years ago and just like Morro claimed the Worlds title for consecutive years. They just did it. We don´t have a commitee that decides it. We just don´t. We don´t have a committee. We just have this calendar. I update it and I ask people...

Hi Gints, is this a definite go or not? Let us know. The date you mentioned is not yet taken in the calendar so it would be possible. So now this is just my personal opinion: Is it good to have the Euros and the Worlds on following weekends? For me it would be hard to attend both because being away ...

Re: Brixlegg
so you cannot have the next four or five in a row in Europe as someone suggested. That was me............ I just said this because to this time only Euros debated about organising the worlds. If we can have the Worlds around the World in a new country every year that would be great, Maybe it will t...

IMHO: Everytime I see someone double pump in a course or even triple pump, I think: "there is a cone or two missing there" or "the hill is not steep enough" I think every course should be set in a way that no multipumping is possible. Then again I am not a GS expert...............so my post might be...
