Sept 11th race
The DC Downhill Outlaw race is currently in limbo. We went to check on the proposed race road and found out it's in the process of being repaved and it looks like it won't be finished for some time. The good news is it will be a great race road when they're done. In the mean time, we need a back-up ...

Andy knows what I'm talking about. It's probably easier for a bunch of students to throw a race than us "professionals". People love to back students efforts and I know it first hand because I bought $12 worth of cookies from a co-workers son that I'll probably never eat. Still, it was nice to suppo...

Hey Anthony, you should throw a race somewhere as a school project. I'll show up but I don't want to help. ha ha ha ha I just want to race. There's always the Van's Park. That's where I'll be.
Anyone know anything about that stand-up barrel that forms in the Potomac when the waters get to a certain level??
Kayakers have told me about it but I've never seen it.
lbk probably has it dialed. What's up?

Sorry Anthony, there will not be a race in DC this Sept. The festival organizers have decided to suspend all events on Saturday in deference to Sept 11th and I can't argue with that one. We still have interest from Verizon as sponsors so maybe we can do a fall classic. We should still train on Van D...

Actually Dan, I think the Murano is the slickest looking car on the road....I love it, but I don't think you'll be hauling Q and his 10'0" to the beach as easily.
Q, you off during the week at all?
I've forsaken surf for downhill skating the last four years and that is about to change.

Sorry guys, but the Honda Element is the true boardriders choice. It's the first vehicle designed with us in mind. I can't wait to hit the rode at midnight, drive to the eastern shore, sleep flat for a couple hours, then hit dawn patrol. Honestly, after being car-less for two years, ANYTHING is nice.
