There are two cheap ways of getting to the Shady Grove Metro stop from BWI depending on when you arrive. There is an express bus that runs from BWI to the Greenbelt Metro station. The bus runs fairly frequently between the Metro and BWI but the Greenbelt station is kinda outta the way and will requi...

Especially since it will probably be windy this weekend. P&R can be no fun in that kind of condition.

Mike Ohm won the regular slalom on his ICK. I believe he beat everyone by close to a second? We had to use the shorter less steep hill because of tons of dirt and gravel on the other side. But Brian made the best of it with a fast, fun course. <font size=-1>[ This Message was edited by: slappy maxwe...

The dances don't seem to be working.
The forecast is now 80% showers on Friday and 30% on Sat AM.

I've found another tunnel that could be useable. It's in Old Town Alexandria just off of Union Street. It's flat and kinda short about 25 cones.

Looks like snowboarding might be a better option.

I agree with LBK. 36" isn't a true longboard. It really should be at least 40". If people show up with smaller boards there are always a ton of boards around they can borrow.

Dlav's 'Cali TS' isn't a longboard it's more of a GS slalom.

Yeah, what makes a Metro station more of a bummer than bust is the floors are all tiled.

There are some nice tunnels under the Capitol that go to Senate and House office buildings. I think there might be just a little tiny bust factor.

Actually Crystal City would be a great place to check.
