So, I get home from a long tiring day of school, i was feeling like crap. I set my first slalom course since October and ran through it a couple times, and DAMN!! did i feel good! I think the shrinks should start handing out slalom cones!

The College Jam at William Paterson University on April 12 is cancelled due to lack of cooperation from the University and lack of participation. We're gonna try it again next year, when there aren't so many things going on at once.

Is anybody around that weekend? I know there is the Bahne race, as well as the Mississippi race. I have a good hill, for a 50 or 60 cones single lane hybrid type course, it should be fun. I have a contest page up on NCDSA.

I like sticking to booze and jerkey. Alas....I don't have any "real" cones, I just use Solo Cups. Does anybody know which Turner is selling cones? of if they still do? I saw a site somewhere on the net that was selling old Tracker cones for 5 bucks a cone.

All I do, is take the hangers apart, and the kingpin out of the baseplate and run it through the wheel, and hit the spots you can't reach with some steel wool.

What music do you all like to skate to if any? I find the only music I can skate slalom too is either English Dub Reggae like Judge Dread, or The Cadets of Bergan County Drum and Bugle Corps. With longboarding, I like to listen to Reggae, Punk, and Irish Folk. Its an interesting combo.

I think I have brought myself to at least 25. I found out the hard way that you can't throw down a hand and slide on a slalom board with really soft Stingers, If it wasn't for the run off, I would have gone face first into the spare tire of a parked conversion van.

Yeah Leo, I redrilled mine about half a baseplate for a shorter wheelbase, as well as dug in the wheel wells longer and a bit deeper. The deck responded great through really tight stuff.
