You can skate the hill any day, any time. The only problem is the tourists. Day time there are too many and they are dangerous, unless there are a sufficient group of skaters. The tourists walk any direction, looking in another, and not ever wondering why there are cones in the middle of the street,...

The list of participants is growing steadily. An estimate the other day, counting also some not yet signed up, gave us approximately 60 skaters, which should provide for a nice race. The discipline named Tight slalom is cones in a straight line. That is the only event where the cone distance varies for Pro's and Am's. The course setting of the special and giant will be done on the day, so we cannot predict in advance how they will be. Our experience on the Trocadero is that all ...

Corky, I don't think that there are many of the amateurs that would like to try the 2.0m course. The French had a similar discussion a year ago if "short boards" should be allowed into "longboard contests" and it was decided that there should be no separation. Would it be possible that in this years FCR results you could differentiate all the skaters that end up 5:th, 9:th and 17:th so that they each get an individual placing such as 6:th, 7:th etc. That would help the ranking systems differentiate the skaters better. There's quite a difference being 17:t...
