It is a custom shape. It was made by mostly verbal specifications, phone calls, and visits. The shape is not really what counts, the secret is in the board and in features you do not see in the photos. I hope it works the way I want it to work. I think that depends on your personal situtaion. I have a family as most of us have and can not stay away from home all the weekends of the year, therefore I like the oneday events close to home. I am lucky and will have 5 of them within 3 hours from home next year. I don´t care what status they have.

Just to correct things:

Grüningen 2002 Chris Linford set a course that was not used in the race. It was decided that it was too challenging for most of the racers because most of them did not make it to the 5th cone.

2003 was set by me
2004 was set by Chris Linford again
2005 was set by Ramon

Just got an email from Latvia, it is confirmed, the dates are in the calendar.
All slalomers will concentrate on travelling to Latvia in the beginning of July and then travel on to Austria. What a trip, what a year is ahead of us!

Ok I think it is the best to wait until Latvia has confirmed. Until then it is open for anybody to take the Euros on a first come basis if the community agrees. Someone against this regulation?

IMHO: Everytime I see someone double pump in a course or even triple pump, I think: "there is a cone or two missing there" or "the hill is not steep enough" I think every course should be set in a way that no multipumping is possible.
