Go to your local bike shop and ask to see their box of chain link spacers. They will fit your axles and you’ll find them in a variety of sizes from 2-8mm. They’re perfect for what you’re looking for. Use them on the hanger side and use your speed rings on the nut side. They’re basically like a norma...

Adam, TK is right. You’re best bet for now is to have your trucks upgraded with 8mm axles and hone your skills and style on ‘normal trucks’. GeezerX can do this modification pretty fast and affordably. For your weight, you’d get just as much grip from an upgraded RTS than you would an offset and you...

For the last several months, I've been experimenting with different ways to shape my decks. I find the Gumballs to be much grippier than Flashbacks. I trust them in the rear as much as an Avalon. I can't get a handle on the way the Avilas slide. If they let go, I can't seem to get them back.

I've also ridden exactly 3 times since Morro. Nevertheless, I'll be gunning for you in LA. ;-)

Avilas make my board feel like a supertanker and allow stronger pumping at speed without too much turn. I think Gumballs have more grip. I h...
