Hey a couple of us Vancouver Canada types, new to slalom but keen to learn, are hoping to hit a bit of a slalom gathering in Seattle during Spring Break. Anything going on south of the line from March 13th - March 20th?

1) can you pump the board in a straight line or does it always have to be turning?
2)trucks - how tight - does it matter much?
3) camber in the board - does it help or hinder?
4)tips to help in learning and practicing this technique?

Ok, so here's a newbie question for ya: I notice that the slalom boards have much wider wheels than say longboard wheels. What is the advantage of the wider wheels and typically where can I buy these type of wheels (any online stores sell 'em in Canada, do ya know?).
