If the park fits 25 cones at 6 ft and enough run-in&out, the organizer adheres to the CyberSlalom course standards, the floor is good enough to skate on without sliding, sufficient time is given for practice, and there're more then two attempts to run the course in both directions, I'm interested. I'll try to post pistures by the end of the week. The course was fun. The first 4-5 cones were tightish widish gates that demanded a lot of attention and the cost of fcking up in those gates was full seconds. It was followed by a pumping section of about 10 cones, and a nice long finish section (ove...

Yes, it's true, Slappy is on drugs. And they are not prescription drugs. The 1919 shoulddahappen it in 1994, then we wouldn't have the 2005. Bad for the US and Canada, good for other countries. Some of their stars are playing back home along with the US players. I'm sure Slappy's watching when he's ...

Performance/Value = CKAT ($18-$25 board+trucks). State level comps, local races, 6 cones per second, ect.

Performace/(Value X Accessability) = Performace Series Roe (under $100). State level comps. Local races. World Championships.

There's a huge difference between 3.1s and 3.2s (with my current set-up). Three twos-fives can be done clean time after time. Three ones can't. Three zero = at least 4-5 hit cones. I tried Grippins and 60 mm of truck width between the inner lips of the wheels. More roll, more speed, less precision. ...

This rule was probably more important in the past, when most communications were done via fax, phone and mail. Plus, the East-West visas were often an issue, so the earlier something's announced and done the better the chances of getting a visa.

Dieter Fleischer corrected this error in the 1991 issue of Slalom! There's a full page article with MPH and KPH calculations.

It might very well be that more people associate “jock” with 0.6 cones per second then with 6 cones per second. The skaters and the crowd alike. ;)

6 Cones per Second Challenge

Is it possible? Anyone's done it?

After reading Korten's article in the 5th issue of Slalom! I've done 20 cones x 5.5 ft on a mellow hill at 3.41 sec. Korten's done it on flat ground, coming down a hill. His record is 3.5 seconds. It's not 6 cones per second.
