Flow is the key.....i really liked the top course that was setup on day 2 of the Farm Finale untill it got really wet, but even that was fun...i did a full four wheel drift around a giant offset at the bottom and managed to hang on/stay in one piece......if only my avalons could say the same about t...

Thanks guys! Joe-Those criddles are new for me and now I am very condifdent to hit any course because of that new skill. But no, that does not mean I am going to hit every cone possible. I still plan on running relatively clean through a course, only criddling cones if I have to dive for a cone that...

Adam, I used to own such an offset truck. I found that Home Depot and Lowe's both carried the coarser-threaded locknuts they required. I think they were 1/4"-20, i.e. 1/4" hole diameter, 20 threads per inch. They sold them in little plastic bags, two nuts per bag, for about 99 cents. They were kept...

Offset Nuts [trucks ;) ]
Who here runs an offset truck that takes the smaller "offset" nuts on the axle? If you answered yes, Have you been able to find a place to get replacements easily? If you answered no, than i can help you. recently i purchased a box of misc. coarse threaded nylock bolts. ends up there is a whole sect...

[Solved] WTB: 110mm Truck or RTS
Hey guys. I'm on the hunt for a truck around 110mm to setup a GS board. I already have a 110mm RTX (yes its 110, older version that tracker cut down from a 129) so i am looking for some sort of rear truck. i'm open to anything, and even if you have another front truck, i can always slap some khiro w...

Vintage 70's Turner
Hey guys, i was watching the Farm 5.0 video and it rekindled my fascination of these boards. it also got me thinking how nice it would be to run the vintage race. so my question, does anyone have a vintage Turner from the 70's that i won't have to pay an arm and a leg for? sorry if that sounds stupi...

Vintage Board
Hey guys, i just watched the Farm 5.0 video by tway and those vintage boaards really got me going. i was wondering if the bearings had to be vintage, and bushings. right now the only old boards i have are a Blue Makaha (not sure of the year but my dad found it on a road in the mid 80's) and an Orang...

Adam, YeeeHaaw! Nice board. Remember though, if it is built specific to your low weight, don't let any fatboys ride it. Use your homemade board for a loaner. it would work, i had the same thing for a while. the truck come's with two spacers that i am guessing are 8mm. the spacers aren't for the bearings, but are to space out your wheels so the inner lip doesn't hit. i heard you have cambrias right? so these spacers would fit perfectly i believe, right no...

tod, i don't think that pic does me justice. that pic was at my first ever race (still my only race, but.....) at that course i was trying to slow myself down so i wasn't pumping at all. my arms are out for wind breaking so i could still make the tricky offset at the bottom of the course. i like to ...

Rear end slippage.....stance?
Hey guys, lately i have had a little trouble with my rear slipping out when i push it too far. I am a fairly light rider i already tried de-wedging, softer rear, and an offset. I think that the slip is with my stance. I have my front foot right on the rear bolts of the front truck and my rear foot i...

i see. i guess because of my light weight i can't benefit much from the narrower trucks because i would have less leverage over the bushings. i also like to have lots of lean because i am used to snowboarding and like to crank some turns. with the split spaced to 110mm in front and an indy 101 (but ...
