i've ridden all of the above with the exception of s9 and airfow.

(we're talking "test drives" on other people's boards)

They are all nice. Many of them have differing levels of boards.

The answer, unfortunately, is: whatever board is best for you.

The PPS and Bahne completes are both good deals. Much better than getting all the stuff, as long as you like the stuff they're using. I got the E-series Chicken Dagger, and I love it. The mild concave is comfy. The shape is good for my style. I'm still a newb, but hope this setup will last me for a ...

That's a good, inexpensive starting point. Get lots of wedged and flat risers and different duro bushings, and experiment!

Where are you?

At the DC Outlaw races, your board would be legal. I've seen everything run from an ancient GT Coyote, to a 38" BDS Long Pig.

Some of the other locales may have some rules, but here in DC, if you can roll it through the cones, it is legal.
