gratitude
Damn!
How could I have forgotten to thank Vlad and Slappy for course setting!!!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you...
Really, after setting a very few, much shorter courses, I know it is an effort.
Thanks again guys!!

I seldom wear shoes Trying to restrain myself from any WVa jokes... ;) I lived in WVa (Eastern Panhandle) from 6th-12th grade, and attended WVU for 5 years. While there, I covered most of the state. Everything from Wheeling and Wierton, to Harper's Ferry, Huntington, Parkersburg, Morgantown, Fairmo...

On a clean shot, Vans is about an hour from G'burg. Traffic in the mixing bowl (I495 meets 395 meets 95) can add 5-30 minutes. Lansdowne is also about an hour, but is a semi-bust lately. It is a great OLD park where they've added some new 'crete. They will add a street area this spring and open soon...

Tway, Lansdowne is a semi-bust lately. On 3/14 we were informed we were trespassing, and asked to leave. I've been back twice since then without incident, but did hear of another guy who was there this past Friday, and was removed from the park, and asked for an ID, and he was told that next time he...

Eddy, I hope Andy doesn't take this the wrong way. I think the "live and learn" should be on this end, as in "book the site asap" before someone's random choice of a picnic site throws your Gathering into a tailspin. I'm fairly certain Andy will be booking VERY early for TG5, as I know this whole si...

Where's the shields?
Look at this pic (from ABEC11's site): http://www.slalomskateboarder.com/Stuff/BearingsSpacers/biltin320.jpg I've got 4 or 5 different sets of Biltins, some were "plain wrap", some actually had "retail" labeling on the tube. Some are ABEC5, some are 7 (and I do not begin to think that I could actual...

Adam, If we move forward with this, one of us 'less inflammatory' persons could post over there. (Not to say that you are an inflammatory person, just that someone else posting over there would be less likely to be deleted...) Anyhow, if Cliff were to come out this way, I'd bet we'd have a boatload ...

In case you missed my post on the other thread, here's some of the pics Michael and I took. I'm bummed we missed the LB race, and I wasn't feeling up to the "Killer" afternoon course. We still had a good time. DC Slalom 2004-03-14 Q If I messed up any peoples names, or there's a shot of you that you...

Hey Anthony (F.): Your Mom needs to get some kind of award for driving you all the way up, then hanging out the whole time. Hopefully, when the weather gets better, she can bring a chair and watch the races. We had a great time, even tho we didn't make it in time to race the "longboard" race and the...

That's pretty cool. I wish I qualified. Any DC Outlaws want to chip in on one of these for our crew? 2 questions: 1. I'm assuming the tones and timing are coming from the Laptop, correct? 2. Could you split the RJ11 cable and run this parallel with a Trackmate (in start from tape mode)? I'll probabl...

I'm gonna jump in here with a few paraphrazed things that I've read here and there. Ron has stated that many bearings rated ABEC7 test far lower. I do not recall if he called out any brand names other than ABEC11. Ron has also stated that his bearings are specifically manufactured for VERT applicati...
