Marcos- I raced the Super G and would have preferred a ramp start. I pushed in hard and could not get my footing right and, as a consequence, did 4-wheel drifts around the first 5 or 6 turns!

Tiger has a 6 wheeled Turner. I rode it for about 15 feet at pump station and it felt strange...to heavy for my taste, but I still couldn't care less if somebody wants to race on one...RWYB!

That sounds like a great setup for any slalomer, beginner to expert. The Mocs are great bearings...as good as any. Same with the trucks and wheels. As for the board...one of the best slalom decks ever made! Make sure to get Richy's advice for wedging and bushings and you will be ready to race...

I skated Pump Station last night with Chris Y. and Lynn. The drive on I-15 was super windy, but it was calm on the hill. That hill is pretty well sheltered, being in a little valley and under the freeway, and there was barely any wind...should be killer!

Marcos- If you want some input on setting a killer GS course, I'll be fying into Austin early Friday afternoon and would be glad to help out...our local hill, Pump Station, is also fast and long, and I have set quality GS courses there. If you utilize the terrain, you should be able to control speed...

Bummer is that the fall in Oregon did my shoulder pretty well. I will be seeing the knife next month to fix it and will be down 3 - 4 months. Someday I am going to make it to Texas!!!!
