I've never heard of that...if they are so loose that they fall off it seems strange they would be causing the veins in your arms to be uncomfortable. A friend of mine takes some tube socks and cuts the ends off and wears them under his elbow pads.....try that maybe it will help?

I agree, a harder, say 94a Cambria would be nice on the right surface but in terms of selling them...I owuld guess the market would be real small. Shoreline 100 Cone Wiggle Fest We had a gathering here in NorCal today to try the 100 Cone Challenge. Here are the rules we established: 100 cones, 6' on center...unlimited push....tape switch set just before the 1st cone and just after the last. My vote...Clock starts on the 4th beep.

If one of the riders crosses his/her start tape switch before the fourth tone begins a display showing a DQ or "-.025" should be diplayed for that lane.

We used my Trakmate at SF Gravity and for other local races. A great timer indeed.

I rode the Avila's on Sunday and then switched back to some Avalons. The Avalons felt like a small wheel.

This new Avila wheel is going to be THE wheel for large G/S and for longboarders that want a nice big wheel.

I could have used these last year at "the bear".

Adam, did you order the ProDesigned pads, looks like Jeff ordered a custom pair. I believe that 3 friends of mine now use PD wrist guards. Erik T. and myself have been talking about running a local slalom series beginning in March. Our plan is to run 5 or 6 underground races here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Jack, your right, more local races. That is were the growth is. We are still working with the YMCA and hoping that we can get a slalom class as part of there program in the spring. If that happens we will run some races and this will get some people hooked.

My time was 25.31 +3cones. When I look at the photos posted that show the Women's record holder I notice they are starting with a ramp and there is a significant amount of hill (1st 1/3 of the course). I think it would be safe to say that the "record holders" are for that hill, on that day, period. ...
