Doug, core training/strengthening is always a good idea! But you can usually find a venue in the winter to practice tight slalom easier than any other form! A flat surface that you have to pump thru the cones can be found ie: warehouses/ gyms etc...use soft ass wheels in the cold and do your best!

Re: Rads/Stims

Mr. Gale, I'm the one who fits Stims to Radikals, and I showed Karl just how to do this. Recall, if you will, the inherent value of Stims before my 1998 posts on NCDSA... Yup, shoulda shut up then, But we wouldn't have JimZ's or Fat Radikal bushings to play with now, would we? So that's one Cat out...

Here is my proposed "Toe stop" question. The wording revises the vertical plane wording that could prove problematic when using toe blocks made from soft materials like C-Block. Should the following rule be included? TOE STOPS: “Toe stops are allowed. They must not wrap over, trap or affix the ride...

A "binding" restricts vertical motion of the foot. A "toestop" restricts lateral or horizontal movement of the foot. Basically, if you can lift up your foot it's a toestop. You put your foot AGAINST a toestop, you put your foot IN or UNDER a binding. Shall I go on? No need! We agree to disagree. My...

No it would not. And no it shouldn't. This toe block is simply an open frame accomplishing the same thing a solid toe block accomplished. The design shown does not wrap over or around the foot. Not to muddy the waters, but toe blocks are a form of binding. albeit 1 or 2 demensional, and normally used only on the front foot..It still is a binding of sorts. No they are not. Wesley, This is where the murkiness comes into play. A toe block is a mechanism attached to the board that restrains the foot from moving foreward, and also can be shaped or oriented to restrain lateral movement. It is not a part of the deck, but an add on that "binds" the foot in place re: at least...

A good quality high speed steel bit should work no matter. To see if it's titanium, see if a magnet will stick to it. It may be difficult since the insert is attached, but you may be able to isolate the attraction. Titanium is non-magnetic.
