Metal Angled Risers

We are making risers to match the Virage trucks. We are doing production 3 and 5 degree wedges with a thin end (thinner than the picture). The rear holes are designed to be elongated to allow for bolts going through an angled baseplate. Whilst these are designed to match the Virage we didnt copy the...

It has give, but not flop. Its flexy but not bendy, its torsionally rigid, but not a plank. Its the balance we strive for. I hope. I think modern slalom decks show that a slight flex is a good thing, for most riders. Decks like the Pavel Pirnack would be a supreme example of a stiff deck, with give,...

Have to say, the 60 degree baseplate is working like a dream. The combination of steep angle and the extra stiffness an integrated riser design giving direct transference of power through the bolts is making for a very speedy truck.

Wesley, you are 100% correct. The pivot is spherical, machined and polished, into a standard Khiro hard, small pivot cup, slightly greased. The pivot also is spherised past the centre, to allow for free movement in every axis.

I chose to go with pivots for 'feel'.

After testing the rear with success a little bit more work has been happening to the front truck. We've added a spherical bearing to the hanger, and worked on a 60 degree baseplate. One reason was to replicate the excellent handling characteristics that integrated risers are showing with the rear. T...
