I ended up with a 03' Volkl RennTiger 168 with a 19cm waist amd Catek step ins. My big bad Hardboot Hero CMC couldnt score me a board .Finding alpine stuff is like finding slalom stuff 3 years ago. I must be a masochist.

What about the poor kids? We could go to Wilbur Cross High School in New Haven but I think the E 500 would get jacked. We can't make Slalom an Elitest sport like snowboard racing has become especially since slalom racing gear is so cheap. TK

A DQ is among the most boring thing that can happen in a competition. Let's keep those to a minimum. If the course is really difficult even a good skater will hit cones. JG, of course TS should have a cone limit. 10 cones should be a max for ANY length course, even 100 cones. Its about skill, a skilled racer can go faster and cleaner. Actually Adam those trucks were specially designed by Peter Verdone for optimum grip, speed ,and smoothness. He purposly made them look the way they do to lull competitors into a false sense of security. Retail price, about 1200.00 bucks. TK

Vlad, my fav is the Texas Limo. A big ass F 350 Ford Super Duty Crew cab with the dually rear end(thats 4 rear tires instead of just 2. The Diesel option is rad also. Plenty of room for lumber and little hard wheels. Hope this helps. TK

NH has about 11 miles of coastline. In those 11 miles there are a dozen point and reef breaks that never close out and can hold a massive swell. Weds thurs and Fri should be the call. Parsons you coming? TK
