Hi guys, sorry I don't have much time to check the forums these days. For the moment, the straight should be as it ever been (off course you bet it hasn't any link with what I could like or not) Some racers really enjoy to compare their times from one year to another. I think it's not so bad to have...

Humm... some security guys will be in charge of the tents during the nights. So anybody cannot be there. Access will be restricted. Know that some French are ready to host racers that can't afford hotel. Normally nobody should stay in the tent to sleep. A few years ago, organizers stayed there becau...

Yes, tents are available for brands or distributors that want to show their products. There are really few still available but it's an unique occasion to promote your stuff with the Eiffel tower as landscape. The money paid for the tent goes directly to the Prize Money purse. Don't hesitate to conta...

After a very nice FOSSJ#1 last year, Mr Jean Terrisse, Claude Queyrel and associates will wait for all of you - old guys who skate- in a nice skatepark.. in fact it's more than a skatepark! It's an entertainment center where you can ski on plastic with lift, wakeboard, go to the swimming pool, cross...

Re: Wind
Easy to say that guys. As an organizer, I wouldn't disqualify something waiting more than allowed to wait for the gusts to stop. but I also don't think I'm the only that wouldn't like to travel thousands kilometers not to be qualified because I've been unlucky to race when the wind was really strong...

What to do about strong wind? during a contest?
I've not found specific subjects about that so perhaps we can discuss that here What to do when wind is really strong during a contest? Strong winds can really change the results of a race. It's not a problem for duel/parallel of eliminations rounds but it's obvious that it is during qualifications....

Re: Regards from "Les Pays-Bas"
Hi, I'm planning to be there to film, maybe also to slalom. Trocadéro ("340") is the spot where I first saw real-life skateboarding (slalom) in 1974 which inspired me for the rest of my life..... Another Dutchman will surely join the competition (is there also an open / rookie race?) See you there!...
