Wes, what brand marker are you using to mark the wheels? Do you write the duro # or use different color markers? It would be cheaper to use one color marker and just write the duros out . You could do it in code so no one knows but you. Thats how I did it but I forgot the code and had to throw all t...

Joe, The Red Roof may be a bit costlier but consider the benefits. 1 In house crack dealer. You don't have to drive nowhere or nothing. 2 Large assortment of available "ladies" if you have 8 or 9 bucks to spare. (ask noah about this, he had a 300lb rubber fetish queen right next door!) 3 No need for...

Right, I also would like some advanced ,timed and organised racing. Initially (correct me if I'm wrong gbj) the G. was meant to be a non competative event where slalomers could get together and discuss rules and format and ride courses. I think now, through the hard work of GBJ, Parsons, LBK, The GA...

Dave, didnt know about the article. I wonder who wrote it, not me. I did see one of the local mad men taking out a zodiac to one of the outer reefs last month. Crazy... Slappy, is it head to head racing you would like to see at the next Gathering? I bet Andy could do it. I travel all the way from NH...

Everything depends on the number of racers. 10 to 15 racers and you can do all kinds of fun stuff. 20 racers and up and you've go to run an organised race. And by race I mean race. Sorry but the practice session/trying new decks and gear session can happen either before or after race day. I know it ...

Wes, try this simple test. Using one hand to secure the deck to which the new trucks are mounted. Take the other hand and using the palm braced against the wheel and wrap your four fingers around the rail of the deck...Now Squeeze. Good... Now take an older and more familiar deck and squeeze those t...

That is a HV. Around the time of the first La Costa Arab made a small run in a few sizes and flex's. They were made in the HV snowboard facility I think. They are Arabs shape and design. Olson won that race and a few more on the HV's. I have ridden a couple and they are a nice damp ride with moderat...

This is Glen C's practice spot. 40 mins from the NH seacoast and 40 min from Boston. We had about 6 newbies stoked on racing today, Gilmour filmed with his insane new camera. This place is the best all around practice spot I've ever ridden at. No hassels, killer surface ,fast pitch. Parking, no cars...

Dan, get a PS Unlimited in a stiff flex if you want it for a ts deck. For hybrid or GS go with the stock flex. The X Fire is a winner. Everyone who has one loves it. Roes tend to run stiffer in flex than most brands so a med is really like a med stiff. I have the x fire and its a really good functio...

If you want the traction of an offset, PVD or Custom truck but dont want to spend the extra cash this deck is for you. The S shape was originally concieved by Henry Hester and Bob Skolberg with camber under the front foot and rocker under the rear. This combination provides insane traction with stoc...

I'm 190 and ride the Crossfire(mini bullet) in a stiff lay up. The board works best in flat to Low pitch courses that are anywhere from 5 foot on center with slight offset to 6 and 7 on center with a foot of offset. Also works very well in steep pitch ts and hybred so long as there are no crazy offs...

His style on a skateboard is also complex. Form must be perfect to be effective. JG loves cutting edge stuff especially if it goes fa...
