A pair of seismic 110s are looking to be traded for any of the following: A set of Abec11 Flashbacks in either 88a or 92a. Must not be coned, chunked, ‘slide-worn’, or modified structurally. A pair of Tracker trucks (or even just the hangers). I'd most prefer around 140mm width, but will consider na...

Vlad, I sometimes unintentionally write in ways that allow the message to be taken several different ways. I wasn't actually upset with you at all. I meant that I wished I hadn't mentioned the increase in speed before refining it to the point of doing it everytime. Next time I announce such a speed,...

Wes liked an alpine set-up overall, if I understand correctly. His first time in hardboots was phenomenal. Maybe you’d like to share with others, Wes? Sure, Vlad, but after I divulge my impression of hard booting, please then direct me to, and/or hook me with someone that can offer, a set up for ar...

Tway, Many slalomers don't use Windows. I know about half the riders in the DC area are Mac users. I (as well as LBK) would most like to see a timing system be integrated with an earlier Palm operating system. Even if there were a mac version of the software, a Palm device would be easiest in all as...

Wes, Please submit your full name to Mr. Trahan. Vlad. I like the thought of eliminating push-starts by using ramps, as the push-start is not a slalom technique. And I know how to build trasitioned ramps, though I’ve never built ones that could be set-up/taken-down quickly. But the problem I DO see ...

Other than the fact that there was no way to publicly see who or how many were planning to go, the only thing standing in the way of the slalom race that would've been, was the lack of space to have a decent course. The weather was fine for the first half of the day, for the people that got there at...

Yes, Harbinger pads stay on wonderfully. I have knee slid mine so much that the cap on one of them has worn completely through. The only time I ever had one slide off was when I stuck duct tape over the hole that I wore into the cap. Listen to me now and here me latah - Duct tape doesn't slide on as...

I just started using a shoe from Target, Utility brand. They are navy-blue suede upper, silver plastic mesh side panels, and model name Hadley. The tread is deep with a wide-voided pattern. I don't know if that's condusive to foot dragging, but for $20 the shoes are worth trying out. The support how...

That's sick! please post some more pics of the course! Must have been fun as hell riding it, or? Here's a video of me riding the course. The banks were the best built skate structures that I've ever been on. The surface is Sk...

Will ProDesigned make custom pads with fabric of the customer's choice (other than choosing from animal prints)? A choice of at least color would be welcomed. I've emailed this question to PD a couple of times in the past but have yet to get a reply. On 2002-10-21 18:26, Bill Walker wrote: Among the...

Leo, you may already have the intention for this, but just in case not: I would have the thin part of every wedge be 1mm (3mm is probably OK too) and have the thick part increase in height with each consecutive angle increase. That leaves each one as a true wedge, with no excess height. In the USA, ...
