The answer is ELIMINATING the "pro" class. We have no "pros." We have a few skaters racing for beer money and some free equipment from their sponsors. Every once in a while a skater gets someone to pay for a plane ticket. Sorry, that ain't pro, I don't care how you argue otherwise. We need "A", "B" ...

Corky and all those who pitched in, Great work. Also, for five years whenever someone complains about the World Ranking my first question is, "have you read the rules and how the ranking works?" When the answer is "no" or something along the lines of "f#@k the rules, man," the conversation is over. ...

James, ISSA's calendar is not the same as NCDSA. Over there Adam has a service he provides for race promoters. I don't know if things are different but he used to charge to get a listing. What's more is even though NCDSA is slalom heavy, it's not a slalom exclusive calendar. What we do on ISSA is li...

Plus buying 300 batteries and extras for a race involving 75-cone dual courses with each gate requiring two batteries. It could add up. "Centered" means to skate mentally through the middle of the course as opposed to allowing your whole body to "out" to one edge and then "out' to the other. The way Professor Evans and Instructor Gilmour describe this ...
