Eddy, Buy Type 131. It's tougher, lasts longer, resists better to bending, and is sensitive enough for any size junior. You won't regret it. I guess we're crazy up here. I'm with Lavin...and as an example (you knew it was coming) USASA snowboarding has kids from 5 and up, each paying $75/yr. before even one race is run/attended...and over 1500 riders at Nationals, mostly kids...it does not kill the sport, quite the opposite - a financially healthy and well-run gover...

USASA snowboarding charges $75 BEFORE a certain date (well in advance of first comp) and $85 after that. They refer to the initial number as a "discount" for paying early, and the latter as the "regular" fee.

I also have some comments on the proposed ISSA member fee requirement. I have always just paid whatever member fee was required in all sports I have competed in, without thinking much about it. If I competed for a year and felt it was a rip-off, I would have either asked for it back, or not competed...

I picked up a stack of steel washers. Couldn't find any fibre washers but they have pretty good tolerance and fit with the existing kingpin so they shouldn't put too much wear on it. I stacked enough that the stack (7 washers) cup and Khiro barrel are the same height as the original bennett barrel ...

I saw the previous posting on this issue last nite and my plans are to eliminate the bottom cone on the bennett. I have a bmx spacer that fits but its not a tight fit on the kingpin...I will look for some fibre washers tomorrow. Alternatively I might put a really hard bushing on the bottom for now....

Lawrence, I can almost guarantee you that the "oversteering" problem you feel is from the setup of the bushings on the Bennett, not foot position. If you can't do the yellow stim setup I recommend, at least get rid of the cone bushings and use barrels only, with a cup washer on the bottom. I used se...

http://www.worldcupranking.com/ - that should be taken down. It's not good to have conflicting "rankings" if we are going to build the ISSA "brand". The rankings are based on mostly 2008 races too, with no new US 2009 results, only EU - making it appear outdated and incomplete. Not helping.
