Hi tod, thanks for the tip. The deck I jave has multiple drill pattern so I shall try the shorter wheel base. I wasnt sure about the wheel size but what you suggested makes sense. Mine is drilled with two sets of holes front and rear.... 19.25 is the short drilling and 20.25 is the long drilling (inner hole to inner hole)

Mike, A little shorter wheelbase, like 18-19in. between the inner truck holes and a board with a little livelier flex for your 125lbs. might make the learning curve a bit easier. Same here Jason... I do take mine apart to inspect the kingpin and when I put them back together I use a rag with just a little Tri Flow sprayed in it and wipe all the contact points clean before I reassemble. This has reduced the noise somewhat. BE SURE TO PUT THE SAFETY CLIP BACK ON THE KINGPIN!!!

Cameron, The Grippins are a center set bearing wheel so you'll have to take that into consideration when matching them up to a truck, especially narrower or "cut down" hangers. Grippins mount up 9/16" narrower "BETWEEN" the wheels than a stock Avalon... the between measurement is what to pay attenti...

Cameron,

People who snowboard or snow ski may find the "cross over" to slalom skating or general longboarding
a good crosstraining activity during the summer to keep the "flow"...
and just to keep in good condition....
try and get some of those people interested!

Wesly, I run 45* Seismics on front exclusively and I put the regular ole angled pad in there to steepen the steering angle on all my combinations. Chris, My hill is a sure bust without a permit... It's an ex-state highway thats been bypassed and is now county 2 lane. Give me some time, ( I'm in the process of moving into new digs) and I'll do the dirty work on this and see if it's worth the trouble... Believe me, there's other options out here...
