I know some hills that are probably close to the speeds reached at Van Dorn and longer. It may be a problem that they're in residential areas. But there's 3 good runs all right next to eachother. One starts on a pretty steep but short hill and even outs a little bit at a four way stop and goes on at...

I went to the ditch today to look at how it was doing. It was pretty clean and dry with some little algae spots at the end in the middle. I'm thinking if Tony is free that we could clear it off over the weekend...maybe

I dunno. Tony is the one that skated it. He said it was between Bob Evans and some other place. I'm pretty sure he skated there from his house. If it's the same ditch we're talking about here transportation for us will be no problem. We could just skate to it.

Hmmm...at my school they have a skateboarding club bu the moderator of the club left so I dunno if it still exists. And they usually just went to skateparks and there were no longboarders in it. I only know two people that skate longboards at my school including me but I think I could pull something...

1/2 inch sounds like a lot. I use them on 70mm wheels but on a DH race. But if it just feels good then go with it.

If you have a board then compete. These guys let me and Tony's ADD friend that was never at the top of the hill when he was supposed to be going race. And he wasn't so good either. Just have fun. :)

I have a job now so all I need to do is keep enoug money in my pocket to get the right equipment. I've been using the hangers on R-II baseplates on my Landy DH Race. Very Stable. At Van Dorn all probably strap the whole DH truck on.

I'm just going to Bethany with a neighbor. Every time I've been there I could barely body board those waves because they were all weird and painful. And since my friend hates going in the water we just end up spending a lot of money. I really wanna get into surfing though... I'll see how things turn...

Longboard slalom is what I'm best at but I think that we need more push off room. My first race was at fountain head and we had a lot more room to push and it was much faster. At the P&R I noticed that it was a lot slower because we didn't have as much room to push and the hill wasn't as steep. I do...

I'll be buying my safety equipment as soon as I can. I've just been concentrating on the riding equipment and not the safety stuff. This summer I should be completely set if I get my job at the bagel place.

The Jam longboard guys were cool and I think they need to come to more of the events.
