Cones for practice or not?

On the subject of having cones or not for practice runs... To me the whole point of having practice runs is to wam up, dial your line in and suss out which wheels to use, i.e. how much grip do I need. With marks on the ground, a) you CANNOT tell how accurate you are being. b) you CANNOT look a few c...

Thanks for bringing it out again...

Hi Jack,
Any idea of publication date yet or how someone in Europe will be able to get hold of a copy?
And Jani, do you know when issue 25 of "Slalom!" comes out?
Thanks...

Hi Etienne,
Can you tell me what the French Cyber rules are? I might as well do it while I am in France! I am living at 1650m so I wonder how that will affect my times... Apart from the fact that skating up here is hard work!

Tom,
out of interest what set-up were you riding? Deck, trucks...
I am getting some Grippins sent to me in France via Germany and am very impressed with the Gumballs and Biltin-7's I just got.
I think all that negative stuff is "personal", they seem to do well in all events be they speed or slalom.

I looked at some old slalom footage from 1987 and I'm actually faster now... I do agree about recovery time though, injuries take longer to heal as well.

Could it be the fact that he has a Pro Model that these young Nymphettes went snowboarding with Paul Price at my Summer Camp ... http://img67.photobucket.com/albums/v204/martindrayton/skateboarding/Paul_and_the__girls-Glacier.jpg then let him teach them to skate? http://img67.photobucket.com/albums/...

Hey Mathias, I rode the Smokestack Proto that Simon had at Hove (England) about 2 months ago... Lots of concave, very manoeverable through 5 foot straight and tight offsets. The concave makes it very responsive. I think he got the idea for the shape from a board he rode for years that was the same s...

Just used one of Chicken's small foam kit on a slightly rockered deck and it feels rock solid! Applied in a very similar way to the photos...Quite subtle, just enough to hold my front foot in position and guide my back foot into place while also helping me increase downforce and grip. Very nice! htt...
