First I'd like to thank Howard for the Sure Grip cushions he sent. Now for the review. Outstanding! I've been using Indy red's in my TTC's since I got them. I must say that these Sure Grip's are even better. They have more rebound and are just a hair harder. They are beefy too! I am currently using ...

Regarding Bones Hardcores durability. I am riding the same top I used for all last years DC Outlaw races as well as my own practicing. I only use the bigger bushing as a top on my front truck. I use TK-05's on the bottom and different cushions on the back but the Bones I have up front [blue] is hold...

When in doubt, whip it out. Been my philosphy for a lifetime. Wedges are a source of concern for us. I'm happy with the urethane wedges I got from solidskate. I have my Tracker Fuls wedged with urethane wedges from them [clear ones], with an additional 1/8 new school riser to keep the wheelbite at b...

I've yet to see a Giro up close but like what I hear regarding their saftey. I use a Hi-Fi snowboard helmet that's rated for 40+ mph. It's not bulky and is well made. It was a bit pricey at 99.99 but well worth it to me. ALL helmets have some worth I suppose. Better than breaking your noggin [someth...

I had an Ick for a while. I liked it but I found the flat topped deck disconcerting. After getting used to a Turner it felt weird under my feet. I had a Steve Evans fat tail with an outrageuosly short wheelbase and it did rock. It wasn't the wheelbase that threw me but that flat top. You guys that r...

With the slalom wigglution in full swing I half expected Krypto to come up with a real slalom wheel of their own. The Kryp Grip as we all know is just a Strada with new badging so it begs the question, "Where is the new Kryptonics slalom wheel?" I'm not sure where they are headed these days. Their p...

Been using em right from the get go. Got one of the first race cases as I recall too. I do like Turner LaCostas mind you but the ABEC urethane seems a bit better to me. Course the color is rad as well. For tight i'm running 92f 84/88r For Hybrid I run 88f 81/84r Have yet to use the 77's And as for c...

Howard, you read my mind. I'm using "new school" rubber 1/8" risers and cut them in 1/2 as well. I have layered em up like this. 1 complete pad, 3 1/2's stacked. When tightened they squish quite a bit and give me the 3 or 4 degrees I like. You guys using the stock bushings? I wrecked em right away a...

OK, I decided to write one more post. I love Tracker! That's all I use. I had tried Indy 101's but found them tippy for me. Since they work the same for everyone it must be me. Trackers are the shit though. For me it's the small pivot Fultrack all the way. Some guys like the gnarly pivot and frankly...

Just wanted to post a quikie here regarding this breakthrough truck. I'd like to know how others are setting theirs up, what they are using for bushings, that sorta thing. I currently have mine set up with a negative wedge of about 4 degrees. I'm using Independent red bushings and they are perfect. ...

I know that many guys are digging the new gear from Roe and Pocket Pistols but I'd like to postulate on the virtues of Turner. When I first stepped on one [Thanks GBJ], it was a weird sensation. The deck seemed to feel a bit small. And this is coming from a guy who first slalomed on a G&S classic! N...
