Wow, I'm impressed with the speed at which this thread took off. Great! Out of memory, and before I locate the exact information, we must have done 6 ft center to center as in the ISSA rules and with 0.1 second cone penalty. No maximum cone count. Indiana is a Swiss brand which has been around since the early 90's. Here's a picture of one of their models next to a Fibreflex board for comparison. Personally I would not enter a race if the surface was wet such as during or after rain. The tunnel humidity on the Sunday race in Switzerland was on the limit, and still that was so little no humidity could be seen, but it was still felt. The ISSA used to have it as standard practice to pass the first cone on the right. As all skaters don't practice the same way we often drew an arrow on the street to indicate the way to enter the first cone. I used to be very serious about this topic, now I don't think it matters that much any more....

Just a quick word to thank Howard and Turner Downhill for bringing out such a good board (GS/Hybrid XL "Fatboy"), that I was able to defeat the best Swiss guys (Maurus, Raffael, Martin S and others!) as well as Paul Price, Michael Stride, Chris Eggers, Gianluca Ferrero on many other strong slalomers...

If it is of any help I can say that the Sunday course in Morro Bay was either 49 or 50 cones long. I counted the cones and came to 49 and thought I missed one in the count... I'm not sure. Remember also that the time was taken from to top of the ramp and not from the first cone. Also the finish line...
