i think it would be good to have a simple page with a simple, local name, such as slalomdc.com or racedc.com, with directions, some pictures, and the calander. make some stickers, word of mouth, we will have a much larger showing at the races.

thanks wes, we had a great time. it was my bros first slalom event and i think it went too long for him. next time ill be sure to bring the ps2 so he can play in the car when he gets bored!

acs bushings

I really like these bushings. They are really soft and are thick. does anyone have any opinions on them? I'm not too experienced in slalom, especially equipment wise, so any expertise would be appreciated.


I use stimulators on my vert/pool decks so I know they are good.

about the acs trucks, i always found them to be really turny and isnt that what you need in a slalom truck? my first slalom setup (solid oak deck) had acs trucks on it and i had fun with it. plus, i am putting most of my money towards my pool/ditch riding because i know that slalom can get really ex...

i dont mind the extra weight, but i use these risers flat on all my other decks. i may be interested in those abec11 onces though, depending on price and availability. in the meantime, wes, whens a good time/place for you? any time after 2:15 works for me (school) but im sure you have work.

problems with mongo are basically that it is harder to set up and you cant turn while pushing.
