I just wanted to add one thing that no matter my personal opinions on any matter regarding formatting; whatever Joe and Brian decide on the matter I respect it and I am sure they have a better idea of how to run this contest because it has been so good in the past two years.

I think declared Pro-Am-Masters is most fair because if you are a pro, you are there to race other pros ect... ect.. when we open qualify you often lose the opportunity to race rivals or move up with in your division. If the top Ams qualify at the bottom of the 16 they will never get to race each ot...

I got there around 12:45 and had a great solo sess. I set the gnarrrliest hybrid course- a string of 6ers curving twice before throwing you into some big offsets which led to a bunch of off the line 7 footers which felt like 5 footers at that speed. UPDATE 4/9 So our "outlaw" already got busted. The Dept. Conservation and Recreation found out and has asked me to get a permit. Brings the cost of the event up a lot. Some important news, Skybus the discount air carrier that services Portsmouth NH went out of business on Friday. Anyone who was planning on using them to come to Antrim (myself included) needs to find new travel arrangements.

For the sake of World Records it shouldn't make a difference how you start. If you can stay in the course when coming in super super hot I believe more power to you. Just my opinion though.

78 maybe if you are really light weight and riding on less than desirable pavement.


I skate with 83s in the back.



White wheels in the back are really grippy and will still be grippy in the summer, by the time you hit july your 78s would feel like 74s.

Get the half inch axles they work well all around. For wheels I forget the exact numbers for hot spots but get around 80a (white) for the back and 83a(green) for the front.

Don't you have to follow all those rules the ISSA has voted on inorder to get sanctioning? I'm not sure.

I'm not a big fan of equal Nth placing, I think there is a difference between 5th place and 8th place. Qualifying should matter.
