We are all about some good eating but Wesley is so right about the stereotypes laid on Southerners. Let's get it out of our system and then move on please. Breck is looking bad for the Byrd's all the sudden due to some new additions to the family. No not more kids just more puppies and Lisa will be ...

Thanks Jack! We are working hard down here. Our skatepark reopened this past weekend and many of the kids there were at the LSJ. I since more of an understanding and respect of slalom now than ever before. We should have a nice turn out for our next small local race. I should probably schedule one v...

Pat,
I used K & K Insurance for the Luna Slalom Jam. They specialize in sporting event coverage. The standard $1M, single day event policy ran me $240

If you have to get city permits to close a street, they will require insurance.

I wish Josh was a little older. He can pass for younger than 12 but not older. Do they need younger all around skaters? Josh has won vert, street and slalom contests. That's all around.

Redlines!
I like that name. Red Urethane...Silver hub?

Red urethane and yellow hub to match the Black Hill would be slick.

Simply put, an "A" racer could hold back in the Quals to assure a place in the "B" group, then turn it on during elim rounds to be in the money of the "B" group. That could take the middle to bottom of the "A" group out of the "A" group and put them in the top of the "B" group. Could shake things up...

I had an idea to get my newbies to enter the local races. My plan is to hold a clinic about two weeks before the race. This will give the new racers a chance to get a feel of the slalom board (or their flipper board on a slalom course)and take some instruction. At the clinic you will recieve a ticke...

Rick Stanziale said to me walking back up the hill, he pointed to his board, "Slalom not here" then he points to his head, "Slalom here".

Slalom racing is not only in the equipment you ride, the biggest part is mental toughness on the race course.

Great one Rick!

She wants to get Lauren to autograph it for her.

How about a thread on slalom riding techniques like effiecient pumping how to's, foot placement...

Thanks again!
