(sarcasm) You're stoked about picking up some pvd's....I'm not (LOL) I think I have a vew varying angles I could send you, but as pathetic as it is, soft bushings are tough to come by. Email Peter directly and hit him up. I won't be out there for Thanksgiv...

Mr. Dong believes the same thing. ...That the tension plate is hitting the set screws. I'd bet a beer that this is why Pete said this is causing the noise. I say it's not. The same noise occurs with NO set screws. Rather, I now think it's the size of the tension plate. Because it's thin enough, it's...

Wes, this is fantastic. Understanding that you want to maximize slalom specific information in very limited space, my opinion is that the terms "bale" (regardless of how you spell it) and "dialed in" could be substituted with other terms that are more directly related to slalom. I think that most sp...

The slot is actually smaller due to the rounded corners, but it's deeper than the R2's. I tried two tension plates...even 3 to fill the void, but the pop is still as loud as ever. I don't understand why ALL R3's don't make the noise. And Glenn, you're right on about the R3's REQUIRING preload. Just ...

If you take the bushing out of an R2 and try to find any play in the hanger and kingpin assembly, you probably wont. (unless you're Vlad) At least I haven't after several months of use. The R3's, however, have a little slop. If you take the bushing out, you might find that the hanger will move (slig...

My vote is to have at least one race on the original spec before changing it. I know you guys did the first spec race already, but if I'm not mistaken, attendance was pretty low. I've built a board for this class. It hasn't seen the light of day yet. I'm up for the RTX/S change, but I'd like to try ...

Vlad, YOU are raising the bar! Please keep it up! My PVD's have been on my desk acting as paper weights since early October. I figured I'd wait until the weather got sh*tty to try em out. My latest experimental session left me thinking the same thing, TK. I'm riding 55* in front and 35* rear. There's a 94a bushing in the back cranked down pretty tight and a 82a in the front. The back feels good. I've found (so far) that 55* in the front might be a little too much steer....even on a m...

Vlad, this is interesting. I'm surprised to hear that you're not pushing all the way into the first cone. I know you CAN. But do you think it's the lack of flex in the plank that makes getting both feet on the board earlier work better for you? The rear steer? The extra height? Like I said, I vividl...
