One thing to look for is Parking Garages.. Security is always an issue in those, but if you can find a good one, it might be worth hitting for a stealth session or two (bring donuts to bribe Security guards?). Tim, that's a nice looking ride!! :-D As I mentioned to you before, though, do try not to use those plastic-based Trackers very hard. I simply don't trust them entirely, as I've seen them flex where baseplates should simply NOT flex. The good news is that RTS bases fit Gnarly hangers, and you can fi...

I wouldn't be either using yellow spring front and rear! For the record, I run either Red or Gold springs on the 'old' German-made Seismics, heavily negatively wedged (-17*) at the rear. Sebastian, I'd go with Zig Zags for speed, and be aware that in grip, Zig Zags can run a few duro points harder than Cambrias. They're also reverisble for more even wear, though 'Coning' can improve grip (well, to a point). The one advantage the Cambria may still hold is in it's lesser rolling inert...

Justin, I mentioned a ball-end ream for a reason, that being that a Khiro or Tracker pivot cup is already somewhat hollow, and are of fairly slick plastic to begin with. There's two strikes against Offsets in Pumping, especially at speed; 1st is that many offsets are not really well aligned, that is, the axles actually end up being either not "in line" with the true pivot axis, or they (in the process of twisting thru the pivoting motion) have leverage issues where ...

It seems that so far, I'm the only 'non Offset user' to vote (hey, but I'm 20% of the voting population!) . However, I'm using old German Seismics or a Geezer-X Tracker RTS, relegating my TTC to T.S. usually. The Seimics aren't offset, but are linear (no twist in the turning action) and the axle is ...

What you want to do here is either make 'findable' pivot cups fit that spherical pivot, or fit the pivot sphere to cups that're available. Since it's easier to ream out plastic pivot cups, I'd go with Option A. Khiro's,Tracker's,and Randal's cups all fit in a GUS baseplate. [ BTW, while you're messi...

Justin, no need to worry about wedges with offsets. Steering is steering, wedges affect steering at it's most basic element, the Geometry. Thus, all trucks react to wedges, all do so more-or-less in the same way (exceptions possibly being Gullwing's Splitaxle/Phoenix[70's version]/SL 2000, which see...

Wes, that's a brilliant bit of retro-engineering that I wish would take place. I don't think it would actually add to steering accuracy improvement, but it would likely add to a quicker-feeling turn-in. The friction on stock pivots is, um, ugly on most trucks.
