Ooops too late.. Go to Home depot. Buy 16 domed aluminum washers with neoprene backing. You'll find them in the plumbing or cabinetry section Use flat head screws (yeah I know they strip but they won't if you do this... ) When the screw head sits on top of the dome they can pivot around very easily ...

clean the opening

Make sure you clean the inside of hte hanger before applying locktite. If you do it outside you can use common starter fluid. too flammable to do inside.

It will give the locktite a better bond to the hanger.

Course quality + Large sponsors + TV

One thing I think is very important is course quality. This year at Antrim NH we had a race on a near perfect hill and a surface that was simply amazing. The town paved it for gravity racing (soapbox derby). I was very impressed with the GS hill at Nationals in Colorado. It was wide and well chosen....
