Tway & Joe, Shady lane sounds groovy, but dual head to head on that derby hill is the s$%t. If you decide to go back to shady lane, please let us know as soon as you are able so I can take it off the dance card for this season. And don't get me wrong, I think that sort of thing makes for a great loc...

Tom-
Looks like I'm going to be down your way again on 12-14 April. Let's skate something! Maybe that death course you found with the hella steep single lane and flesh eating shoulder.

Hey Matthew, Now that you are leaving the East Coast we'll be happy to welcome you to the center of the Slalom Universe. Glimore, Champman, they all like to think the East is where it's at, but that stats don't lie. COSS will whip you into competitive racing shape in no time. We generally communicat...

Corky, What about Colorado Cup making Prime status? It's unclear above. I forgot about the two discipline thing. That is a disadvantage of Pump Station. Would it be possible to split that main? I'm happy to compete on flat ground for a discipline such as a Cyber Slalom to prove my ability is this discipline (heck I even beat Stroble at this last year...). hills vs. flat
Chris, There are a couple of reasons why slalom racing at the World Championship competitive level should be on a hill. 1. Hills are faster the parking lots 2. It takes more skill to pump at speed then it does to pump flat ground 3. It's more exciting for spectators 4. Hills offer pitch, grade, crow...

2006 Worlds
Pierre, I was not able to make it to Antibes, but I have heard that 2 of the 3 events were held on flat ground, in a car parking area. Is this correct? I feel that the Worlds events must be held on hills, and the bigger the better. Even tight slalom must be on a hill. Cyberslalom is the one exceptio...

couple of more thoughts. Don't restrict the contest results to a simple 1,2,3. It's never that simple with 5 divisions and 3 events. Automatic link to the world rankings. Jani- It would be nice to have fields in the sign up that are for the organizer, things we could check off such as "waiver on file" & "Entry Fee Paid". Richy- I'm hurt. I thought the Breck TS was your favorite. But I agree. Simple open downhill with cones doesn't excite me a whole lot. There is a big vocal support for this in SoCal. The overwhelming majority of cones that are out are out because the cone head didn't put them in the right spot. Courses are chaulked in, then the get changed, and they get rechaulked. And it's even worse if you've run two courses on the same hill. I've had to explain to 10-year old cone head volunt...

to keep it split-fire related- you slid at least twice in that footage on the TS and Gilmore commented on it as he was filming.
