24-08 sunday practise session @ de Bult in Leiden

Who's with me?

We are having a practise session at 12.00 in Leiden (de Bult).
There are about 6 people coming and there is room for more!

It was a bit of a humiliation at the EC in Amsterdam! The Dutchies need more practise!

It was great weather and wonderful slalom boarding!
Nice vibe (most of the time anyways) and great people!

Some nice photos from a friend of mine:

I won't be able to catch a flight until saturday morning, arriving at schiphol 0755 approx. How far is schiphol from the sportspark.. i saw that you could easily take the tram etc.. but thinking of instead catching a Cab, is that expensive? there's no direct shuttle ? or anyone else arriving early ...

Thanks all! I also got some great tips from Ramón Königshausen. I'm going to change the bushings to orange Khiro's/ Bitch in the front en red in the back. And this time I won't tighten them too much like I did before. Rick, I did have problems with the top washer hitting the hanger. I'll get rid of ...

Here are a couple of pics of the boards. The Roe is what I used to race. I have kept the Maysey in the bag the whole contest, cause I was told it was no good for the contest. I was working on the trucks of the Maysey, so don't bother telling me I can't skate it this way..hehe. I'm busy shortening th...

Hi Donald, Thanks for the quick reply! It could be I just think your boards are sexy as hell :p hehehe It's kind of weird I have more problems with the Maysey than the Roe. I'll have to look at the truck setup I guess. Just thinking, could it be that my trucks can't steer fast enough and the wheels ...

Deck torsion bad?

Hi all! Last weekend I had my first slalom contest in the Netherlands, organised by Flavio Badenes. It was really great! It was super to see all the crazy Germans and Karl to rip up the asphalt!! However, I had some problems with my setup, which kept me from finishing the tight course. At about 3/4 ...

... One of the people I met was Georg. .......... I couldn't think of a better use than to give him that board. He's going to order stuff from Heiko's webshop this week and at next year's Hannover WC, there will be at least one Sarsedt local, maybe more. Yeah, that kind of attitude is what we need ...

I can help out programming. I'm a professional and certified PHP programmer who'd like to contribute to this project. I'm a student, so I don't have much spare time, but every little help is appreciated if I'm right? Tell me if you're interested in my help.
