Mike great thought on two different courses. One the point of racing two different courses and also making the event fair and equal. Taking into account distance traveled and measuring both lanes and all that as well. Would it be simpler if the curves in the course were the only section set differen...

Kevin, I had the chance to ride the Unlimited the day TK received it from Gareth. (I think it may have been the Prototype PVD or both) I find them comparable as TK's board is a little softer then my BR. Accelerating was quicker but (Unlimited) I don't think over the length of that particular course ...

The Venue looks great Gary and I hope your feeling better. I'm not sure where you plan on making the start from the photo bit I tend to agree with Andy about the particlar venue being used as a single lane event. I doubt I will be there unfortunately. Most of my practicing has been on curved b...

This is a good move Henry. It may now make it a little easier for me to attend as the G3 is the following weekend and I could make it all into one trip. I also have many Slalom set-ups that I will try to bring for the event. Now if the God's can lend a hand I can include Catalina before the sk8park ...

Yes Ohm, sometimes there are exeptions to the rule. Most of the races are run on venues that are not even ridden regularly. Kenny skated great and deserved his win. No doubt. I was at the bottom with BP watching it all. It looked like he running away from everyone. It is not always the case. There a...

Perhaps that was a little strong. I do know that several key racer do not like some of the stuff going on but simply refuse to state it. Perhaps someone else relays it in their own way. I don't know! I agree that Jack was open minded about La Costa and am sure it was the same in other situations. Th...

I agree Mike about not blaming winning or losing on a good or bad course. Although a lame course is always going to produce a victor until enough people are brave enough to tell the organisers they simply don't like the course. There will crappy course or parts thereof to race on. Right now from wha...

Nice to hear from you Dan. There is still a slim possibility I may be going to Vancouver in July to work in a sk8 camp. Recent events locally have put that into a question mark. Something in August may be makeable for me. I also have a few former team members in the area who may apt to join in. I wi...

Sustained, no I doubt it as well. At that rate of speed if you maintained it for say 10 to 15 cones it may only be for 2.5 seconds. Hitting a top speed of 30 mph is possible under the right circumstances, hill and course. That's not very long. It 's does require a hell of a lot of quick movement how...

Sorry Glen I kind of disagree. I think an AM "A" class should ride the same course as the Pro's. These are the up and comers and they should be able to measure their talents accordingly. I think if the purses were to grow substancially, you might see more guys move up quicker. I'm mean in terms of p...

Perhaps but possibly only because no one else was clocked at max. I'm sure several racers could attain this mark under the right circumstances. Yes, hill or course management is key anywhere you plan on setting a course. For example if you wanted to set a socalled tight course at say La Costa and use most of the hill you could - start with some 7' slight offsets then bring it into some 6 foot straigths a say 6' then (as speed increases)your...

Radar Gun, yes, 30 MPH one time on a bike path. The officer on the road was trying to figure out if there was a speeding violation but couldn't come up with one. Lucky me. This would of been about 6' OC. It could have been less, I very rarerilly ever ran anything longer then 6. A lot of my courses d...

I agree with Richy on the setting then tweaking them to make them better.
