The guy named TAD in the Fusion ad's was Tad Stout. He was the reason Piercy, Ryan etc. came out to Colorado to race. Tad raced at La Costa with them and told them about the racing going on in ColRADo. The rest is history.......

I notice a "breeze" on the way up but we decide to keep on. We take off on our run, 2.5 miles of speed. Turn frontside and you start hauling ass, turn backsid...

OK, here is my observation from many years ago. I DID take highway cones and chop them down. DUMB MOVE. Karma paid me back. It seems the highway cones of the past are soft and get caught under wheels. OUCH! Save yourself some roadrash and use plastic beer cups if you must. I think Mr. Etiene has his...

The only REAL Indy suspension trucks were made in the 70's during the end of the ARA season. Hutson and a select few had them. I think (just a guess here) that only 5-10 sets if that were made. The suspension trucks had springs (maybe?? Please correct me if I'm wrong) inside the hanger attaching eac...

The issue of "street racing" is a double edged sword. 1st there are no spots to race other than the streets. The 2nd is that if there was a venue for racing built would it attract? I think it would serve as a twofold purpose, a controlled area for racing with out contention with traffic and a good s...

When is this stuff gonna get outta the street. this has been talked about for years. How come the some of the parks are not being urged to put in a run? This a double edged sword however. The flipside of the coin is spectators and getting the KIDS into it. Something has to give on racing spots. Brin...

I think some different classes of gear could be run. something like a looseball wheel class. pre '80 stuff. Even a high performance class (Bruce Brewington has some classic Turners from the 70's) that would qualify. And don't forget the Concours de Elegance! That may bring out collectors and some sp...
