Everyone, Beau at Rye Airfield mentioned to me last night that he'd like us to put together a slalom demo of some kind for June 21st which is national skateboard day. It sounds like he'll have all kinds of things going on at the park and maybe a small race where people could try out slalom would be ...

Chris, I'm headed up to Rye tonight and will scout out the local hotel scene. You're welcome to crash in my basement lair complete with 2' X 8' quarter and 2' X 6' bank ramp. It's got a futon and couch. Nothing special, but not too bad. The reason this race is in this forum is because I hijacked it....
I'll check on hotels today and send you an email. There are a bunch of cheapos right near there. The park is a blast, plan on hitting the 9am session on Sunday too if you've got time. It's empty then. There's a vert contest at 3 on the day of the race if any of you want to go for the hat trick. The ...
Yeah, almost 2 hours up there, transportation can be arranged. The park will be all ours after 9pm till whenever. We were thinking of hitting it in the AM too, but would have a few straglers at that point, not many. But that night from 9pm on we own the place. Only the people in the contest will be ...

I'm thinking hard park wheels will be the call, I've ridden my slalom setup in there with grippins 88/92 and it feels slow, but obviously sticks better than park wheels. I don't really know, experiment I guess brotha man, hybrid? I can just see the avalons on indy 169s now. Got any bulldog Dub Cons?...

RYE AIRFIELD PARK/BANK SLALOM THROWDOWN
Announcing the first Rye Airfield Park Slalom. Basically we'd rent out Rye Airfield (www.ryeairfield.com) for 2 or 3 hours at 9pm some night and set a course. The park is perfect with any number of lines with big banks and transition. This will be set so that most will be able to make it with any nu...

Great time Sunday, thanks to JG for the cook/DJing, Paul for the seafood, the Chapmans for a fantastic time after, and all who skated. Everyone looked fast, Paul VS Matt was a nailbiter, the milliemeter ripped, BSR teammate Glenn made the first course clean and fast (impossible), and I've had nightm...

I have a trailer guys. It's rigged up with racks up top for kayaks, but the racks are removable. It doesn't have plates and just sits by my shed with the racks up for my kayaks. I'd be hesitant to drive it into downtown boston with the phony expired plates I use whenever I've driven it from my house...
