That is beautiful. I spent all morning cutting out my new slalom deck only to find that it was uneven. Ordered a Bahne black hills to get me started instead. Hopefully all this rain will stop by the time it gets here 'cos I got my cones yesterday.

What type of setup is best for banked slalom? Carving up and down banks is probably my favorite thing to do on a skateboard and I think this would be my best slalom event so I'd like to design my board for primarily banked slalom skating (with decent all around capabilities). Thank Gareth. Let me know when you're getting together next and I'll try to make it. Just getting my slalom set-up worked out. Bought some trucks yesterday and my cones will be in tommorrow. Sounds great!!! Believe it or not, after 20+ years of skating, I didn't even know there was a slalom 'zine....EVER!!! Putting an insert in Concrete Wave is a great idea. I'm just getting my first set of cones, and don't actually own any slalom equipment but I'm eager to learn and get others interest...

Any slalom people live around Olympia, Washington? I'm just getting some cones and gonna give this slalom thing a shot but could definantly use some help. Just watching someone who knows what they're doing would be help enough I'm sure. Thanks.
