1970's 8mm films from Georgia

On a recent visit to my family I uncovered some of the old 8mm films my Dad and I had taken from when I was a kid. There was a slalom series in Peidmont Park in Atlanta, which at the time was about 120 miles north of where my family lived. We went to big city to race, where I did pretty well as I wo...

I'll take the Fat AXE if you still have it. I'll email you and you can let me know. No need to ship, I'll just pick it up next time I see you. Marty loves his, and I'm still riding the "Svelte" AXE, so it would be nice to give it a try.

Scott - This deck doesn't come in different stiffnesses. I'm a 230lb'er myself, and at that weight this board has a lot of flex. Just depends on if you want or like that, I went with a stiffer board for the little longboard riding I do. For me it was too flexy, otherwise, I'd still be riding it. Ron

Saturday June 9th was the Second Georgia Outlaw race. For the second race, we focused on a difficult tight slalom course. There weren't many clean runs, I think Keith had the only one all day. We had great weather, although it was getting hot, and traction became an issue with the heat. The course w...

Seb,

I've got an 88 RTX on my AXE 1 that I got from Sk8kings, which was modified by Pocket Pistols. I actually space mine to 98 with a 5mm spacer on each side. It works great for me at 98, I've never tried it at 88, as I get more turn than I need as it is.
