I think rookie of the year should be limited to those 42 years and over. All those young guys just bounce when they fall wheras us old'uns are laid up for months... that's real dedication for ya.

Well Done

Just wanted to add a thanks for all the hard work getting this ranking system together... even if it has its flaws, it's a great personal measuring tool - it just feels good to appear on the radar... even if only as a little blip!

Thanks for your hard work Corky... and for the illumination on Sam vs. my placings... I think however Sam should be penalised for rowdy and drunken behaviour on at least two continents through the year... that's got to be worth at least 34 points... And yes Mr Gordon, 004, next year... maybe ve vill...

Thanks for your kind words, Donald, from your post a few days ago. I do agree with much of what you say and wanted to add some thoughts, as someone that has got back into slalom just this last year. This may mean I don't have the credibility, knowledge or right to express an opinion. It may mean tha...

Dear Jonathan

Please don't sell Sam Gordon a kingpin spanner. If his truck seizes up completely, or he has his old spanner jammed in the mechanism, that may give me the vital tenths I so desperately crave.

Wish list

Hi Mark Would like to get a Dragon Claw front truck, racers set bushings, different axle lengths, the polished metal wedged risers (sorry.. can't describe exact spec as couldn't get on your site this a.m.)... might be into some trimmed Avalons. Are you by any chance in Morro on Thursday before races...

Radikal Trucks Available at Morro?

Hi... just wondered... will anyone be taking Radikal gear to Morro competition to sell? I'll be coming over from UK and was interested in a Radikal front end.

Re. 1977 Hutson santa Cruz deck

Thanks for the replies... coming around to the idea that maybe my board should just be pensioned off (maybe I should too)... but, as I bought my last slalom deck 26 years ago could I ask a quick bit of advice... basically what's hot now? I ALWAYS fancied a Turner deck, but if you're familiar with th...

Is a 1977 Santa Cruz John Hutson Graphite Deck off the pace?

Question... I've been riding a circa 77' Santa Cruz John Hutson Graphite Deck since... 1977! Running mid tracks, Belair Wings at front, RR Henry Hesters at rear... and always been supremely happy with it.. absolutely loved it.... until disaster... the deck is now road-kill... almost snapped in half....

Need Santa Cruz John Hutson Graphite Deck...

This Sunday just gone, I took my much loved slalom deck out. It is (was) a 1977 Santa Cruz John Hutson Graphite Loaded Slalom deck (signed by the great man running mid tracks, Belair Wings at front, Road Rider Henry Hesters at back... well... now it's DEAD... my board is road kill... almost snapped ...
