There's an interesting story behind the tall tiles at Olney. Apparently the drain at the bottom of the deep end was too high. When the builder built up from the drain level, the resulting pool had no vert. One of the local advocates caught it in time, and the builder essentially raised the deck leve...

Again, now even more interesting... I saw Ron post on Skull & Bones at least a year ago about possibly making either a DH or Slalom specific bearing (a la Biltin), but I'm guessing he's either too busy, or not that interested. I also read about some tests where Biltins were below the ABEC spec stamp...
