rulebook - unfinished

I had a look at the rulebook and I'd like to share my thoughts and questions with everybody. some of the points are minor graphic problems. - does the ISSA have a logo? put it in the rulebook - I would call it 'ISSA rulebook' - ISSA can be mentioned in headline on every page - is a pointy nose a saf...

I'm proud to announce my 1 cone world record attempt! I'm planning to have 1 cone and 1 light beam which works as start and finish line at the same time. Sorry I can't use a tape swith, I'd catch air going over such a thing at 100km/h so does that go with the rules if I'm using a light beam? any hel...

Airflow vs. Splitfire... the only thing i can say is that gary fluitt bought 10 Airflow OS trucks about in 2004. then we didn't here anything from him ever again. half a year later he released his own truck which basically looks like an airflow.

form follows function

a skateboard truck is definitely a very functional thing. so the thesis 'form follows function' might not be too far away. let's have a look at the baseplates of the trucks mentione above. i knowmost of them and they all look more or less the same. and that's all because there's an optimal shape for...

jadranko you are a SLALOMskater that's true.

but most of the skaters who really love the sport don't care about what they skate. they skate everything. slalom, pool, parks, freeride, downhill, banks, cones, parking lots, rigiblick, monuments. whatever. can you feel the flow?

the old design was adapted from our GS raceboard C81 which also has lips. it has nothing to do with grabbing rails. it was simply the easiest way to make the kink between flat and lips. now the foamcore is shaped differently. the lips are still there.
