Not enough momentum in the organizing early enough to get the town to let us shut the road down. We decided rather than push beyond our resources is to get a really good stoke from this race so that in 2008 we can approach the town and get what ever street we want. Sorry guys! We'll do some thinking...

The problem I had with those boards is that they would actually flex out. When they were new, they were ...

To flex or not to flex, that is the question...
So I was curious about the recent trend of a lot of people switching to Pavel, skaterbuilt, Fullbag and AXE boards. Less people seem to riding Roe's, PPS or turner style boards where the flex is one of the main design features. I don't want to get into a brand war here just arguing who makes better ...

Ride the hill- For the record. MOST PEOPLE LIKED THAT COURSE. It was fuuuun. In case you guys forgot, skateboarding is supposed to be fun. I've skated a lot of courses I didn't like and I've bitched about it. It doesn't do a whole hell of a lot of good. The only thing you can do is hold a race becau...

Wanted Splitfire Pro
I rode my splitfires in the downhill in texas last weekend, what a rush. I was riding the version with out the bearing in the hanger, which I will continue to ride down big hills. But I really want to upgrade to the pro hanger(the ones WITH THE BEARING). If anybody has one out there that they aren't...

The race last year in Antrim was incredible. The hill is perfect. The ramps are a piece of master carpentry. I kinda want one for my living room. I have never ever been treated or fed so well by an entire town supporting a skateboard race. Antrim is an example that hopefully more towns all over the ...

Getting my Skaterbuilt dialed in...
Been riding slalom for what 3, 4 years and I never really considered riding a skaterbuilt before. I basically took the year off doing TS in 2006(shortest board in my quiver was 32''). I had seen masey run Breck in 05 and he's just unreal. I was lucky enough to win one of the Masey TS model boards in...

I was just curious, how do the points work in a contest like Dafarm or Dixie where everyone qualifies in groups of 16, you get fast amateurs racing in the top division and slower pros running in the B bracket. Is it possible to record raw times on DQ runs?
I was just wondering if it is possible when a racer finishes the course but DQs on cones to record that raw time even if it still goes offically as a DQ.
Some of these final rounds are close and when you lose the race just because of that one extra cone it's nice to see how close the race was.

If anyone is interested we were all going to drop a course in Needham at a this new spot. It's just been paved on a steep hill going up to the Sheraton along 128, little traffic. I'll get some pics soon. Hopefully we can have a race there next year. Weather looks good right now.
