B, I think I've seen someone wear leathers....but you are correct it would not work well. In most areas it's to hot to wear leathers and race slalom. I guess you could try it but I would over heat in one run. I'll stick to ProDesigned pads, knee, wrist, elbow and a Giro helmet....sure I may leave a ...

Hans/others, I've slammed on my PD pads from the coping to flat bottom in a 10' pool, I've knee bailed racing slalom at 25+ MPH, I've fallen while ditch, park and street skating....PD pads stay on better then any other knee pad because they are custom made to fit your knees. Hunter, a Med/Stiff would be good if you around 150-200lbs...what would you use the board for? If your looking for a good all around set up this may be a good flex to go with pending your weight.

I have to agree with TK. I could answer like this.... for T/s go with the HOll 28...but If your looking for a great all-around deck the PS Unlimited is the way to go.

Hi Sam, I agree that would all be great info...for now here are the specs to my 31" board: The overall length is 31". The width is 8.75". The camber height is 3/8. Tod, I tried using red in the back...i weigh 188 lbs and i couldn't get them to work. I use the yellow in the front witht the screws turned in 1/8 of a turn and yellow springs in the back with 1.5-2.5 turns...depending on the course. I use red springs in the back on my slalomcross-G/s board...I back...

Glen, you are 100% correct...45 degree up front with a wedge adding more turn and a 30 degree in the rear taking even more turn out with a wedge.

Hey Tod, I use a standard urethane wedge in the front and in the rear...but I also add a few degrees by adding a "cruz control" wedge in the rear. They don't sell them anymore but they were made by NHS (Santa Cruz skateboards) back in the mid to late 80's...they are paper thin on one end and maybe 5...

Todd, sure. I would use your standard wedge up front and in the rear.(by standard I mean the urethane wedged risers) Thin sides toward the front of the board. As for the trucks turn the set screws on the front truck all the way out and then turn them both in one and one half turns. On the rear truck...

Dave, I use Avalons and the new 105's and I have no problems. I do always trim the back and front lips of the wheel a little but Its not even close. Dan did a great job of sculpting the hanger to accomodate most wheels.

I rode the new trucks all weekend...this is it....the real deal....real nice work Dan. If you haven't tried these trucks before you should...if you have tried them before these are improved...the springs feel great...the 45 degree trucks is the best front truck I've ever used and the the stable turn...

I take a file and hold it against the wheel while rolling down the street. This works real well. The file I'm using is one that came in an old Burton Snowboard tuning kit.
