i wear about a size larger in vans than i do in a running shoe (reebok/nike)..

best bet, find a local shoe store with some and try any pair of vans, i've found that most of the sizes of the different models are spot on to each other..

my protec has saved my head numerous times, and i've had it for over a decade... head first down a 15 stair set, with no bruises/cuncussions/etc.. qualifies as a damn good helmet to me..

There are some very nice gloves made for inline skaters out there that can be easily fitted with sliding blocks. they are comfortable and well made, as well as have good support for the wrist; have found them in full finger and half finger styles..
