In terms of good vibes Luna is the place to be.
Thank you Thank you Thank you!
PS. Jack Smith's set up is the S for the hills.

Some longboarder with a biblical name won the PP race. I was 0.1 sec behind. Barker was another 0.1 sec behind. [wisper]I see longboarders....there're everywhere...and they don't know they are longboarders...[/wisper] The PP race was fun, so was the afterparty. It's 3:30 PM local time. Everyone's ch...

Great video! Esp. part II. If by slalom "style' we mean slalom "technique", then we can compare and contrast different slalom “styles”. Luca, for example, has a very precise style which allows him to stay cleaner then most of his competitors most of the time, while Jani’s style is so sloppy, that he...

Again, it makes sense, Mr. Tway. I've seen a few examples of good PRO/OPEN comprimises. DC, The Farm and MS. If pros have more speed on the start, they'll ride a totally different course...on the same course. I think it's better for the World Cups and other Major Comps to have whatever they can fit ...

Yes, the most trusted weather sourse on the web, www.weather.com, correctly predicts AM showers. I think it's not worth the risk and a 4-hour drive.
Til next week then.

My girl wanted to get me something unusual for my BD. Something slalom related that I would never buy myself (too much $$ for what could be the same performance as the less expensive equipment). I'm getting Oust bearings (the most expensive ones, I don't know which model they are) and Radikal trucks...

DC Amature Race/Practice Series
This is a new DC-area slalom racing series to supplement the 2004 Spring-Summer DC Outlaw series. Why? Because many young guns are itching to race more often then the current DC Outlaw schedule can offer (grown-ups have families and other things...but only grown-ups understand that:) Where? Same pla...

I find useless the following: Front PVD. There are better truck choices. Angle plates. 30-degree non-interchangable plate can be used with or without a 6-degree standard wedge and that covers TS, GS and everything in between. Turn limiters. I find usefull the following: Interchangable 8-mm axles. On...

In my opinion, there's nothing more important in choosing an event's status as recent history and location. What counts is how many people from how many nations came in previous years, how many locals vs. visitors were present. Prime location, such as a big city, is more attractive then a country si...
