hows this sound? You know the town will be packed with people for the bike event. You want to showcase the race itself, but not necessarily bore people with the qualifying. I think you mentioned something like this before Hold the qualifiers at a different site with a similar course earlier in the d...

that's a good question...Last i read, the qualifying would be jam session, earlier in the day, with your best time being your qualifying time.... Personally, i think that's cool since i've never started off of a ramp before and it'd be nice to get some practice in before the actual race itself (and ...

Hi Jack...i'd thought about the black hill...it was my first slalom board, which i passed on to my wife...and other new riders that come out to the hill pick that one up first as well. Board for Seniors 2004
Having never ridden a Sector 9 before, i cant comment on the flexiness, but obviously others here have ridden them and know better. That being said, at 200lbs, a great board for GS (which i assume your going for with a large board) may be a Yandall Wreckreational Cruiser....you can find it here... h...

Most of us make our own Noah. Airhooks, avail on Ebay for mountainboards, are cheap (about 7.00 a pair) and you can saw off the "hook" part to make it a good toestop. It bolts right to your front truck holes. I usually cut down a solid urethane riser for a toe stop, put a few 3/8 rubber plumbing was...

It's a decal...this was a prototype deck and 66's may have been made after it. Skating on a deck with rolled edges?....it takes a little getting used to. Hey Glenn. Both Green ones are Bobby boards, the white one is a Vinnie board, lower camber and slightly different shoulders. OK....here's a thought........a guy we ride with here lives on an island where the Detroit River meets Lake Huron....there's a 7 mile long road that runs around the island.
Would anybody be game for a race around the island?
Longboard or slalomboard?

I always got a kick out of people seeing somebody riding an old Turner and saying "you're going to ride that?...it's collectible, it should be on a shelf" They've got beautiful lines, but i have to doubt if Bobby would have rather seen them on a wall than on the street...... so... Hey Jim....before you race that board, you may want to put a rubber washer under those screws on top. 3/8" faucet washers work well, just put a thin flat washer on top of it so you can tighten down. That board is still fiberglass and you can crack that top sheet if you have the metal tightened down ...
